Art and Cafe Culture at The Press Room in Surbiton

105 - Surbiton Station 8 - final edit copy

Throw twenty one different teas and infusions plus three different hot chocolates (using white, milk or dark chocolate) and some great food into the mix and  you’ll be hard pressed to find a better specialty coffee house in South West London.

Not only that, but until January 10th the walls are decorated with a Surbiton selection of my work, chosen to reflect chilly winter days and urban life, both of which are enhanced by a warming cup of something hot

Plus there’s a small yet well-informed wine list to help wind down your day’s hectic schedule.

So drop in  and grab a cup of coffee. Stay and enjoy the artwork and the cosy atmosphere. The Press Room can be found at:

5 Claremont Road. KT6 4QR.

Just a couple of doors away from Waitrose.

KAOS at the Orange Tree Theatre!

Costume store web

As a member of KAOS (Kingston Artists Open Studios) I am exhibiting some work at the delightful Orange Tree Theatre in Richmond.

Described by The Guardian as ‘a pocket sized National Theatre’, the Orange Tree is situated a few yards from Richmond Station.

The Exhibition is in the foyer and runs from Monday 21st October until Saturday 30th November.

It coincides with the production of “The Middlemarch Trilogy” based on George Eliot’s classic novel.

The Exhibition can be seen by theatre goers and is open to the public whenever the box office is open, so come down and discover KAOS at the Orange Tree!

Royal Ballet Lower School, White Lodge Exhibition

White Lodge, Richmond Park

White Lodge, Richmond Park

White Lodge, situated in the middle of Richmond Park and home of The Royal Ballet Lower School, are hosting an exhibition of work from a variety of artists.

The Exhibition runs from 16th September to 14th October 2013

The work includes views from the school across Richmond Park, as well as pictures of the historical building itself.

I have one artwork in the exhibition and White Lodge is a fascinating place to visit; it was a Royal residence and home to the Queen as a baby!

The school also houses a museum and ballet resource centre. Admission is free, but because the school is a working institution, visits must be booked in advance.

Exhibition at the CornerHOUSE

Spice of Life jpeg

Come to my first Solo Exhibition at the CornerHOUSE in July!

The CornerHOUSE is a gem of a theatre dedicated to the Arts. It hosts high quality productions, in particular stand up comedy and has a gallery space where audiences can enjoy the artworks as a pre-theatre and interval treat. The gallery is open to the public as well. Gala night for my exhibition is 16th July at 7 – 9pm when I will be giving a talk about my work and providing drinks and nibbles.

All art work is for sale at very reasonable exhibition prices.
